A trustworthy guide:

Consumers walking into a wine store will often wonder which wine to choose. They know that most wines usually offer good quality.

When a wine bears a winning medal from a Federation competition, consumers can be assured that 7 international tasters have evaluated the organoleptic qualities of this wine before rewarding it with a seal of quality. A medal from one of the Federation’s competition is therefore a guarantee of quality determined by both technical and sensory evaluations.

Furthermore, producers submitting their product to a Federation competition tasting can rest assured that the award they receive is based on a consumer-oriented tasting. This means that the product will probably please an international market since the panel of tasters is international and rewards products that reach a consensus.
